MY PART TIME JOB EXPERIENCE:
DECEMBER 2019 - MARCH 2020

After High School, I worked as a part time retail assistant at a clothes shop named "KIDZ Brands Outlet" in Setia City Mall,Setia Alam.
-
I worked there for 3 months before continuing my studies in matriculation (foundation).
-
A necessary rite of passage for everyone is working in retail at least once. It teaches a number of crucial lessons about responsibility, collaboration, and teamwork. Once you've lived somewhere for a while, it starts to feel like a second home, and you start to take pride in it.

Therefore, it does reinforce for me that I shouldn't muck up displays, leave trash behind, or mounds of clothing on the changing room floor.

I enjoyed my time there as I pickup new skills and learn new things from my coworkers.
MARCH 2022 - APRIL 2022

I worked at a western restaurant in Ipoh called " Tok Mat Western" as a waitress and barista.
-
I worked there on my two month semester break to gain some real life experience too.
-
Being a barista is quite a challenge as you need to remember all the frappes, coffee, normal drinks recipe but I actually managed to memorize it fully within 3 days time.
-
There too, I get to know my coworkers that I now called as friends even when I already resigned from it.
-
being there helps me to understand how things work behind the kitchen/barista counter and it does gives me memorable scenario and skills.
